Beautiful !! I love how you've used a diptych to create a more emotive feeling than just one photo could. Lovely work. (:
First time I've heard 'Midge Ure' but I love them. Nice sound and the vocals on this song sound like so many singers (Roy Orbison and Damien Rice come to mind). Thanks for the new music!
Why! Thanks a lot for your kind comment. I love diptychs and last night doing this one I realized that I especially love creating them with pictures of Mirtel.
That song is actually "very" old... say, that for me, it represents teen years memories ... Sometimes I get emotive about it so I'm glad it coveyed some feelings to you too.
I love diptychs too, though I don't have one on this site. Mirtel is very pretty, you guys did a great job. Every time I get into your gallery I'm amazed at the lovely work you do.
Wikipedia said the album by Midge was released in 1996, I was 6... lol but, my teen years had their emo moments too. I'm kinda glad they're over in some ways, in others I want them back.
damn...I can't see the video in my country, but I know Midge Ure anyway,... however, I love the way you look at your model so much! as close as you get as soft and caring you still are. that's so beautiful to see!
Agent Ant, this comment of yours made my morning! I do care about my models because they are persons in front of me and my camera. They work professionally to get into a relation with me to get the best emotion as possible out of an image, out of a single "click". That's why trying to make the female body a glourious means to communicate emotions is so important to me. Getting out of some stereotypes about nude and modelling and so on... I hope I've been managing this task so far and that my sensibility will get better and better with time and practice.
